From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, the CONNECT engine's DOS table type used an incorrect boundary check that permitted a one-byte null write beyond a stack buffer at an attacker-controlled offset. An authenticated user able to use the CONNECT engine could cause a crash and potentially remote code execution. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `mariadb >= 10.6.1, < 10.6.28`\n- `mariadb >= 10.11.1, < 10.11.19`\n- `mariadb >= 11.4.1, < 11.4.13`\n- `mariadb >= 11.8.1, < 11.8.9`\n- `mariadb >= 12.3.1, < 12.3.3`\n- `mariadb >= 13.0.1, < 13.0.2`\n\n## Remediation\n\nUpgrade past the affected range:\n\n- `mariadb 13.0.2`\n\n## Vendor advisories\n\n- **Red Hat VEX** · Important · affected: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Red Hat OpenStack Platform 13 (Queens) · no fix planned: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, … · updated 2026-10-26 · [vex](https://security.access.redhat.com/data/csaf/v2/vex/2026/cve-2026-107815.json)\n- **RHSA-2026:83108** · Red Hat · fixed in: Red Hat Hardened Images · released 2026-10-14 · [advisory](https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:83108)\n- **RHSA-2026:84689** · Red Hat · fixed in: Red Hat Hardened Images · released 2026-10-19 · [advisory](https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:84689)","depth":"twilight","depthScore":47,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":46.8,"likelihood":0.3,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
