Prior to 3.2.6, default tokenless deployments allow anonymous clients to create Jupyter kernels and send execute_request messages containing arbitrary Python. The endpoint blocklist does not cover /api/kernels, and the websocket wrapper previously tracked idle activity without authorizing executable messages. This issue is fixed in version 3.2.6.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `mercury < 3.2.6`\n\n## Remediation\n\nRefer to the linked advisories for vendor-supplied fixes and affected version ranges.\n\n## Package advisory (CVE-2026-111058)\n\nAffected packages:\n\n- `mercury <= 3.2.5`\n\nPatched in:\n\n- `mercury 3.2.6`\n\nSource: https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-rv4m-xm3f-3ccq","depth":"abyssal","depthScore":66,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":53.9,"likelihood":0.1,"exploitation":12,"ransomware":0},"changes":[{"seq":227637,"id":"CVE-2026-111058","ts":1792685044274,"field":"exploit_available","old":"false","new":"true"}]}
