With $CGI::DISABLE_UPLOADS set, it discards the body by reading until Content-Length bytes have arrived. Once a body shorter than its Content-Length runs out, every read returns 0, so the loop never ends.\n\nA client can keep a server process spinning with one such request.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `CGI < 5.00`\n\n## Remediation\n\nUpgrade to CGI 5.00 or later.","depth":"sunlit","depthScore":3,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":2.8,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
