An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the MICE service could consume available connection capacity, preventing legitimate users from establishing MICE-based Miracast connections while the condition persists.\nMiracast P2P is not affected. MICE is disabled in the default configuration and must be explicitly enabled by the customer. On most devices, Miracast P2P is available independently of MICE, but a complete disruption of Miracast can occur on some devices when WLAN is configured for Infrastructure mode.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `cynap_pro_cynap_core_pro_cynap_pure_cynap_pure_mini_cynap_pure_pro < 1.78a`\n- `cynap_pure_next_gen < 2.00d`\n- `cynap_videobar < 1.72e`\n- `cynap_cynap_core_cynap_pure_sdm all versions`\n\n## Remediation\n\nRefer to the linked advisories for vendor-supplied fixes and affected version ranges.\n\n### Workarounds\n\nUntil an update can be applied, consider the following measures where operationally feasible:\n  *  Restrict access to the MICE service on TCP port 7250 to trusted hosts only.\n\n\nWolfVision recommends keeping devices up to date and using dedicated, managed network segments (VLAN or firewall zone) to restrict device access to trusted hosts only.","depth":"sunlit","depthScore":29,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":29.2,"likelihood":0.1,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
