So reject any request to enable interrupt forwarding\nif its already enabled for the zPCI device. This also fixes overwriting and\nthus leaking resources when the ioctl is called multiple times for the same\ndevice.\n\n## Remediation\n\nRefer to the linked advisories for vendor-supplied fixes and affected version ranges.\n\n## Vendor advisories\n\n- **RHSA-2026:89816** · Red Hat · fixed in: Red Hat Enterprise Linux BaseOS (v. 8), Red Hat Enterprise Linux CRB (v. 8) · released 2026-10-26 · [advisory](https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:89816)\n- **RHSA-2026:89814** · Red Hat · fixed in: Red Hat Enterprise Linux NFV (v. 8), Red Hat Enterprise Linux RT (v. 8) · released 2026-10-26 · [advisory](https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:89814)\n- **Red Hat VEX** · Moderate · affected: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 · no fix planned: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 · updated 2026-10-26 · [vex](https://security.access.redhat.com/data/csaf/v2/vex/2026/cve-2026-74515.json)","depth":"twilight","depthScore":48,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":48.4,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[{"seq":230405,"id":"CVE-2026-74515","ts":1793134637111,"field":"cvss","old":"6.1","new":"8.8"},{"seq":230404,"id":"CVE-2026-74515","ts":1793134637111,"field":"severity","old":"medium","new":"high"},{"seq":229390,"id":"CVE-2026-74515","ts":1793019727871,"field":"cvss","old":"8.8","new":"6.1"},{"seq":229389,"id":"CVE-2026-74515","ts":1793019727871,"field":"severity","old":"high","new":"medium"}]}
