Single quotes in the pattern are escaped, but a code block runs in place and needs none.\n\nAn attacker who supplies a query, or text that an application inserts into the pattern of one, can execute arbitrary Perl code in the calling process.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `JQ-Lite < 2.51`\n\n## Remediation\n\nUpgrade to JQ-Lite 2.51 or later.","depth":"twilight","depthScore":46,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":46.2,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[{"seq":226086,"id":"CVE-2026-78497","ts":1792523849389,"field":"cvss","old":null,"new":"8.4"},{"seq":226085,"id":"CVE-2026-78497","ts":1792523849389,"field":"severity","old":"none","new":"high"}]}
