This is not always the case\nas it's possible to encounter 'late' failures on the output of S1\ntranslation, e.g. a GFN outside of the memslots.\n\nFix it by preparing an external abort before returning from\nkvm_translate_vncr(). Get rid of the BUG_ON() in the fault injection\npath while at it.\n\n## Remediation\n\nRefer to the linked advisories for vendor-supplied fixes and affected version ranges.\n\n## Vendor advisories\n\n- **Red Hat VEX** · Moderate · affected: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · no fix planned: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 · updated 2026-10-17 · [vex](https://security.access.redhat.com/data/csaf/v2/vex/2026/cve-2026-80665.json)","depth":"twilight","depthScore":39,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":39.1,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[]}
