The devm cleanup then releases\nthe interrupt first, so the handler can no longer reschedule the work,\nand cancels the work before bq is freed. The explicit\ncancel_delayed_work_sync() in remove() is no longer needed and is dropped.\n\nFound by static analysis.\n\n## Affected\n\n- `Linux >= 2219a935963e5eeb19e5abfb99475fcc06bbb804 < 9d77fd7dd9a3ad57f7655c5264b503b85adbb7b8`\n- `Linux >= 2219a935963e5eeb19e5abfb99475fcc06bbb804 < a279e64c907f5638bb34cb8e2c9285798cf5f690`\n- `Linux >= 2219a935963e5eeb19e5abfb99475fcc06bbb804 < 6d2eb93975c07b0169a3287efc1ae3b60cf52d8e`\n- `Linux >= 2219a935963e5eeb19e5abfb99475fcc06bbb804 < 861ec73ce86e2ca18082cc7be4f140a5bbdf1428`\n- `Linux >= 2219a935963e5eeb19e5abfb99475fcc06bbb804 < f495808cdd6d9576965787cf6d9737d0b0e86b73`\n- `Linux >= 2219a935963e5eeb19e5abfb99475fcc06bbb804 < 47ccbad210f48721c30d69d65b83dc9fff919ca9`\n- `Linux >= 2219a935963e5eeb19e5abfb99475fcc06bbb804 < 9d34c9d660c3d0931d2cc749c46c47cf31f96e48`\n- `Linux 4.2`\n\n## Remediation\n\nRefer to the linked advisories for vendor-supplied fixes and affected version ranges.\n\n## Vendor advisories\n\n- **Red Hat VEX** · Moderate · updated 2026-09-18 · [vex](https://security.access.redhat.com/data/csaf/v2/vex/2026/cve-2026-89475.json)","depth":"sunlit","depthScore":30,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":30.3,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[{"seq":206966,"id":"CVE-2026-89475","ts":1789749722688,"field":"cvss","old":null,"new":"5.5"},{"seq":206965,"id":"CVE-2026-89475","ts":1789749722688,"field":"severity","old":"none","new":"medium"},{"seq":147722,"id":"CVE-2026-89475","ts":1789270212037,"field":"cvss","old":null,"new":"5.2"},{"seq":147721,"id":"CVE-2026-89475","ts":1789270212037,"field":"severity","old":"none","new":"medium"},{"seq":109480,"id":"CVE-2026-89475","ts":1789183732077,"field":"cvss","old":null,"new":"5.2"},{"seq":109479,"id":"CVE-2026-89475","ts":1789183732077,"field":"severity","old":"none","new":"medium"}]}
