Each resume therefore replaces the boot-time pointers\nand leaks both old allocations. The function also uses GFP_KERNEL from a\nsyscore resume callback, where interrupts are disabled and the non-boot\nCPUs are offline.\n\nReturn early if both buffers are already allocated. Clear the pointers\nin free_ga_log() so a partial allocation failure cannot leave ga_log\ndangling.\n\n## Remediation\n\nRefer to the linked advisories for vendor-supplied fixes and affected version ranges.\n\n## Vendor advisories\n\n- **Red Hat VEX** · Low · affected: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 · no fix planned: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 · updated 2026-09-28 · [vex](https://security.access.redhat.com/data/csaf/v2/vex/2026/cve-2026-98003.json)","depth":"sunlit","depthScore":30,"depthScoreParts":{"impact":30.3,"likelihood":0,"exploitation":0,"ransomware":0},"changes":[{"seq":212525,"id":"CVE-2026-98003","ts":1790668198732,"field":"cvss","old":null,"new":"5.5"},{"seq":212524,"id":"CVE-2026-98003","ts":1790668198732,"field":"severity","old":"none","new":"medium"}]}
