## Overview

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

sock_map: Add a cond_resched() in sock_hash_free()

Several syzbot soft lockup reports all have in common sock_hash_free()

If a map with a large number of buckets is destroyed, we need to yield
the cpu when needed.

## Affected

- `linux_kernel >= 5.4.49, < 5.5`
- `linux_kernel >= 5.7.6, < 5.8`
- `linux_kernel >= 5.8, < 5.10.227`
- `linux_kernel >= 5.11, < 5.15.168`
- `linux_kernel >= 5.16, < 6.1.113`
- `linux_kernel >= 6.2, < 6.6.54`
- `linux_kernel >= 6.7, < 6.10.13`
- `linux_kernel >= 6.11, < 6.11.2`

## Remediation

Upgrade past the affected range:

- `linux_kernel 6.11.2`
